Writing to aid therapy

It might seem like a simple idea – to write down what you’re feeling, but keeping a diary really can help you.

I’ve kept a journal now for 3 years – just slightly longer than my stay in hospital. I find them good places to show what you’re feeling and a good way of looking back at bad times and remembering how they got better.

I have one journal for positive things, one for negative and one for recording what has happened during that day.
